Why This Update is Small:

Hi everyone. The past three months has been a busy time for me with some ups and a lot of downs. It's been difficult juggling everything and equally finding the motivation to see this through.

In the past month, I've been focusing on my studies, so I haven't been able to work on this prototype. With that in mind, I've decided to break these updates into parts, to better illustrate my plan.

I will also reduce scope to write the entire plot to the game and just focus on the prototype, the main focus is communicating the theme and tone, rather than the story.

Please see below for what enemies will hopefully be in the prototype! These are AI generated images and the names are not final. Concept art is also subject to change.

These Enemies Will (Hopefully) Be In The Prototype:

Vessels. Concept design created by AI. Both concept art and name is subject to change.

Vessels: Their Attack Style

Long range attack - projectiles. (1.2x base attack)

Short range attack - physical attack.

The projectiles are fed from their exposed organs.

Destroying this renders them immobile briefly, before they begin to physically attack.

Their physical attack is quick and in bursts. Can be evaded.

Wraiths. Concept design created by AI. Both concept art and name is subject to change.

Wraiths: Their Attack Style

Sonic screams can damage the player and push them back.

Energy from within the void can be harvested and manifested into lightning attacks that emanate from the Wraiths' body.

Unstoppable power attack. The wraith latches itself onto your body and drains you of health for 2 seconds, but only if it gets too close. Can be dodged.

Possessed Townfolk. Concept design created by AI. Both concept art and name is subject to change.

Possessed Townfolk: Their Attack Style

Physical attack with normal speed.

May carry melee weapons or bare fists.

If one dies, and another is in the immediate vicinity, their energy is absorbed, making the other enemy more powerful.

In small numbers they can be easily killed, but larger numbers may take more effort.
